ST.LOUIS, MISSOURI—July 28, 2009—Corporate history comes alive in St.Louis as IDEAS2IMAGE®, an interactive design agency, delivers a multimedia exhibit to an international financial firm*. The interactive exhibit is part of The History Factory’s corporate Heritage installation in newly the client’s constructed office space. The aesthetic of the installation’s digital components are designed to reflect the appearance of the of The History Factory’s physical exhibit materials that are used in the site.
From planning through execution, IDEAS2IMAGE worked closely with The History Factory to establish communication objectives, technical requirements, and a design treatment that would supplement the physical exhibit that the firm created. A custom scheduling system was created, so that the client’s staff can control the time and duration of information displayed within the presentation. Using the IDEAS2IMAGE scheduling system, a variety of text, image, or video content can be displayed on LCD screens throughout the facility. The content on each screen can be independently controlled and scheduled. The interactive media components of the project are built in Adobe Flash™, making extensive use of custom written ActionScripts that are integrated with PHP components.
After development of the system was completed at the Virginia office of IDEAS2IMAGE, the firm’s staff travelled to St.Louis to install the system on the client’s systems. While on-site, IDEAS2IMAGE performed optimization of the media components to ensure that the installed screens would fluidly display animations and video.
